Intensive Moscow's Attacks Disrupt Power In Ukraine's Capital

Throughout the evening, Russian missile and drone strikes have resulted in electricity outages in large parts of the capital city, Kyiv.

A number of civilians were hurt while local people in eastern neighborhoods were plunged into darkness and encountered disruption to water systems, per reports from local authorities.

At the same time, a seven-year-old child was killed in a distinct assault in the southeastern region in the southeastern part, as reported by area administrators.

Moscow has increased strikes on power infrastructure over the past few days, while the country's government has demanded "concrete actions" from partner nations to exert influence on Moscow.

"The necessity is not superficial actions but strong steps - from the America, European nations and the Group of Seven - in supplying defensive weapons and enforcing penalties," mentioned in a public message.

Authorities reported that 450 drones and more than 30 missiles struck the country's power systems, labeling such strikes as "strategic and deliberate" and against "critical infrastructure" as temperatures become colder.

Energy officials said Moscow was "launching a major assault" and repair crews were working to restore power.

A series of attacks struck electrical systems and residential structures in Kyiv.

Five out of the nine people wounded in the attacks on the capital have been hospitalized, as confirmed by municipal representatives.

Regional authorities said the urban area experienced significant strikes overnight. A young boy died and three other people were injured.

The strikes come after nights of air raids in the territory, sections of which are currently controlled by Russian forces.

The entire country is in a state of readiness for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are harder to detect.

National leaders told journalists that Moscow was intentionally trying to demolish the country's energy grid, with attacks already disrupting energy systems.

Officials stated energy workers and government agencies were anticipating more assaults.
